Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through yokaiapparel.co.uk (the “Website”).

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By placing an order through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Yokai Apparel is operated as a sole trader business in the United Kingdom.

Business name: Yokai Apparel
Email: info@yokaiapparel.co.uk

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Yokai Apparel

Yokai Apparel is an independent clothing brand selling clothing products including:

  • T-shirts;

  • hoodies; and

  • other clothing products.

Our products are produced after an order has been placed and are fulfilled using third-party production and fulfilment services.

We currently use Tapstitch as a production/fulfilment provider.

2. Placing an Order

Products available through the Website are subject to availability.

When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • your delivery address is correct;

  • the products and sizes selected are correct; and

  • you have selected the appropriate delivery option.

Before completing your purchase, you will have an opportunity to review your order and correct any errors.

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you wish to place the order and agree to pay the displayed price, including any applicable delivery charges and other charges clearly disclosed before checkout.

3. Order Acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Your order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted if we subsequently identify an issue such as:

  • an obvious pricing error;

  • a product being unavailable;

  • an error in the product description; or

  • an issue preventing us from fulfilling the order.

If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where applicable.

4. Product Descriptions and Images

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours and other product information displayed on the Website are accurate.

However, colours displayed on your screen may vary depending on your device, display settings and other factors.

Because our products are produced individually following an order, there may be minor variations between products.

Such minor variations do not affect the product's intended use or quality.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

5. Prices

All product prices are displayed on the Website.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before your order has been fulfilled, we may contact you to explain the error.

Where appropriate, you will have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order and receive a refund.

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

6. Payment

Payment is required when you place an order.

Yokai Apparel uses payment services including Squarespace Payments and may make available payment methods such as:

  • debit and credit cards;

  • Stripe-supported payment processing;

  • PayPal;

  • Apple Pay;

  • Google Pay; and

  • Klarna.

The payment methods available to you may vary depending on your location, device and other circumstances.

Payment details may be processed by the relevant payment provider. We do not intentionally retain complete payment card details.

7. Production and Fulfilment

Yokai Apparel products are produced after an order has been placed.

We use Tapstitch and its relevant production and fulfilment partners to produce and dispatch orders.

Once an order has been submitted for production, it may not always be possible to make changes to the product or delivery details.

If you need to make a change to an order, contact us as soon as possible at:

info@yokaiapparel.co.uk

We will try to accommodate reasonable requests where the order has not yet entered production.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once production has begun.

Your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

8. Delivery

Delivery options and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout.

Our current delivery options include:

Special Line

Estimated delivery: 7–13 days

Special Line Pro

Estimated delivery: 5–7 days

International Express

Estimated delivery: 3–5 days

These are estimated delivery times rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

The actual courier or postal service used may be selected by Tapstitch or its fulfilment partners.

Delivery times may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • customs processing;

  • postal or courier delays;

  • severe weather;

  • strikes;

  • public holidays;

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information;

  • import restrictions; or

  • other events outside our reasonable control.

If an order is delayed beyond the applicable delivery period, please contact us at info@yokaiapparel.co.uk.

9. International Orders

We accept orders from customers outside the United Kingdom.

International orders may be subject to:

  • customs duties;

  • import taxes;

  • local taxes;

  • customs clearance charges; or

  • other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Yokai Apparel cannot guarantee that a particular country will permit a specific product to be imported.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order can legally be imported into their destination country.

10. Risk and Delivery

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them, where applicable under UK consumer law.

We remain responsible for ensuring that goods are delivered as required by applicable consumer legislation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits your statutory rights relating to delivery, loss, damage or faulty goods.

11. Returns and Refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns, cancellations and refunds are handled.

You can view the policy on our Website.

Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy or these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights.

For online purchases, eligible customers generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods without giving a reason.

12. Exchanges

Yokai Apparel does not normally offer direct exchanges.

If you require a different size, colour or product, you should return the original item in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and place a new order.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, incorrect or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We take care to ensure that products are produced and supplied to the expected standard.

If you receive an item that:

  • is faulty;

  • is damaged;

  • is materially different from the product ordered; or

  • is otherwise not as described,

please contact us at info@yokaiapparel.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include:

  • your order number;

  • a description of the problem; and

  • photographs where appropriate.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

  • for unlawful purposes;

  • to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;

  • to interfere with the Website's operation;

  • to introduce malicious software;

  • to copy or reproduce Website content without permission; or

  • in a manner that could damage Yokai Apparel or other users.

We may restrict access to the Website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or other legitimate purposes.

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Website available and operating correctly.

However, we do not guarantee that the Website will always be:

  • available;

  • uninterrupted;

  • error-free; or

  • free from viruses or other harmful components.

The Website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • breach of statutory consumer rights; or

  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or arise outside the normal scope of the contract.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.

19. Privacy

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

The Terms & Conditions that apply to an order will generally be those in effect when the order was placed.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
